VolRadar is a volatility analytics platform built for options premium sellers. It provides daily end-of-day analysis of implied volatility, realized volatility, volatility risk premium, and proprietary signals for S&P 500 stocks and popular ETFs. Data is sourced from ORATS and refreshed daily after market close.
Options premium sellers need to answer one question every morning: is today a good day to sell premium, and on which stocks? VolRadar exists to answer that question with data, not opinions. Every metric, signal, and score on the platform is designed to surface favorable premium selling conditions quickly and transparently.

I’ve been selling premium since 2018 — mostly short puts, iron condors, and the wheel on S&P 500 stocks. Every evening I’d spend 45–55 minutes checking VIX levels, scanning for IV rank, looking up earnings dates, and comparing realized vs. implied vol in a spreadsheet. VolRadar is the tool I built to replace that spreadsheet.
Before options, I spent 15 years in e-commerce — Amazon private label, SEO, data-driven product research. The same question applies in both fields: how do you find edge using data instead of guesswork?
VolRadar is operated by SIA FIZVO, registered in Latvia (Reg. No. 50103900691).
All options data — implied volatility, historical volatility, earnings dates, options chain analytics — comes from ORATS (Options Research & Technology Services), a professional-grade data provider used by institutional traders and quantitative researchers.
Every metric on VolRadar has a documented calculation method. We believe transparency builds trust — you should know exactly how a number is computed before using it in your trading decisions.
All educational content on VolRadar is written and reviewed by the founder. Ticker analysis pages are generated programmatically from institutional ORATS data using documented formulas and condition-based templates — the same methodology applied consistently across all 500+ tickers daily. We do not provide personalized investment advice.
Content is updated when methodology changes or when new data warrants a revision. The “Last Updated” date on each article reflects the most recent substantive edit, not automated rebuilds.
VolRadar is not a broker, financial advisor, or trading signal service. It is an analytics tool that helps you evaluate volatility conditions. All trading decisions are yours. Please read our investment disclaimer before using any data or signals from the platform.
