VolRadar (volradar.com) is an options analytics platform operated by SIA FIZVO, a company registered in the Republic of Latvia (Registration No. 50103900691, VAT: LV50103900691). Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (managed by our auth provider). We do not collect your real name, address, or phone number unless you provide them voluntarily. Usage data: We collect anonymous analytics about page views, tool usage, and feature interactions through Google Analytics 4. This includes IP address (anonymized), device type, browser, and pages visited. Payment data: Subscription payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We do not store credit card numbers or bank details. Paddle handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. Tool usage: Free tools use localStorage (browser storage) to track daily usage counts for rate limiting. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
We use collected data to: (a) provide and improve the service; (b) manage subscriptions and billing; (c) send transactional emails (password resets, subscription confirmations); (d) send marketing emails only if you opt in (weekly newsletter, product updates); (e) analyze usage patterns to improve features; (f) prevent abuse and enforce rate limits.
We process data under: (a) Contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for; (b) Legitimate interest — for analytics and service improvement; (c) Consent — for marketing emails (opt-in only). You can withdraw consent at any time.
We use: (a) Essential cookies — session management and authentication (always on); (b) Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics (you can opt out); (c) localStorage — rate limit counters for free tools (stays on your device). We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
We share data with: (a) Paddle — payment processing (Merchant of Record, handles tax compliance); (b) Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics; (c) Render — hosting provider (US, with EU data processing agreement); (d) Brevo — email delivery (EU-based, GDPR compliant); (e) Cloudflare — DNS and CDN; (f) Clerk — authentication services (user sign-in, session management); (g) Massive — OHLC stock price data provider (market data only, no personal data shared); (h) ORATS — options analytics data provider (IV, Greeks, historical volatility, earnings data; market data only, no personal data shared). We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). Payment records are retained as required by tax law (typically 7 years). You can request deletion at any time.
Under GDPR, you have the right to: (a) Access — request a copy of your data; (b) Rectification — correct inaccurate data; (c) Erasure — request deletion of your data; (d) Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format; (e) Restriction — limit how we process your data; (f) Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest; (g) Withdraw consent — for marketing at any time. Some data may be processed outside the EU (e.g., Render hosting in the US). Where this occurs, we ensure adequate safeguards through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms as required by GDPR.
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
VolRadar is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us for immediate deletion.
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
